Emily grew up skiing in Australia, and learning to ski amongst the snow gums and wombats is one of her favourite childhood memories.

Now, she travels to ski resorts around the world whenever possible, ticking them off one by one, taking in the unique experiences and food, wine and culture at each destination.  When she’s not making turns on her favourite snowboard, Emily loves the sound of fresh snow compacting underfoot, the fresh mountain air and stopping mid-mountain to take in the views.

SIMON BEAZLY

Groups Assistant Team Leader

Simon has been working as a professional snow bum for over 15 years. During this time, he has been lucky enough to visit over 70 different resorts across 7 different countries! Revelstoke, BC, Canada and Rusutsu, Hokkaido, Japan will always have a special spot as these are the resorts where Simon was able to live, work and ride every day. During this time, he was able to work in many different roles including running the Snow School, Cat Skiing and Heli Operations for the Revelstoke Outdoor Centre, welcoming guests as the Chief Concierge with the Sutton Place Hotel and photographing the amazing hotels & suites in Rusutsu.

Simon is now happily working with Sno’N’Ski Groups and Educational Adventures and loves that he can pass on his love and passion for the snow to the new generation of riders and hopefully get them hooked on this wonderful sport.

These days, Simon prefers to ride backcountry rather than resorts due to the awesome unlimited terrain, deep powder and no lift lines. There’s something special about being able to pick your own line and ride something that no one else has done.
