Q. When is the best time to start trip planning your school trip or group ski holiday?

To ensure your first preferences are held, the best flight options are booked and plenty of time to promote and gain approval we recommend ski trip planning 18 months or more in advance. We are there with you every step of the way.

Q. How can I gain school student or group interest for viable numbers to run a ski trip?

A successful promotion can be an information evening with a PowerPoint, a letter out to families with a flyer, an ad in the school newsletter or an email to parents. A deadline of interest and initial payment is imperative to gauge realistic interest. We will put together all your promotional material and are happy to host a promotion event at your school (subject to location).

Q. What restrictions are there on passenger numbers for a group ski trip?

To achieve school or corporate group pricing, a minimum of 20 school students or travelers is required. There are no restrictions on maximum numbers, we do recommend an accurate indication on numbers during the planning process to ensure enough availability and the best price.

Q. Do the school's teachers have to pay?

Teachers can choose whether to incorporate their travel costs into the school student ski package or pay separately. Depending on Ski resort location, there is often an FOC ratio for school teachers.

Q. If a school student needs a different flight routing can they purchase a land only package?

We can tailor separate flight routing or land only packages for school students who wish to continue their travels. Their package will be priced separately and is subject to the school ski trip coordinator’s approval.

Q. What details do I need to collect from school students?

Sno'n'Ski Group Holidays strive to make school ski trip coordinating as streamline and stress-free as possible. We set up google forms for all passengers in the group to complete their details, so you don’t have to.

Q. Do I need a visa?

We can provide relevant visa information once passport information is received. You can check the requirements on Visas Direct. Passports must have 6 months validity from return of travel.

Q. What if our group numbers change after we have paid a deposit?

Due to distribution of costs, packages are required to be re-quoted based on actual group numbers if they change after a deposit has been paid.

Q. Is there flexibility in payment deadlines?

We try to be as flexible as possible with what the school plans to promote. Take note that deadlines are subject to property and airline restrictions.

Q. Can I replace a school student at no extra cost?

If a school student drops out, their deposits to date can be transferred to a new traveler’s spot (subject to timing). We strongly recommend traveler’s seeking adequate insurance coverage for cancellation cover.

Q. How much spending money should I take on the trip?

We pride ourselves on our inclusions to minimize costs. Check what inclusions are in your package when determining a budget. Depending on how many souvenirs or additional snacks you wish to purchase on your trip, we recommend between $20-$50 per day.
