WANAKA
Wanaka is a great base for school students and groups wishing to ski Cardrona Alpine Resort, in just under a 40-minute drive. This quaint lakeside location provides a different experience from the vibrancy of Queenstown however can still be combined with under an hour drive between the two towns.
Cardrona is most suited to intermediate levels, therefore a great final day option for newly confident and experienced skiers and snowboarders. With long runs, wide open trails, and extensive facilities, you will not be disappointed when you visit Cardrona.
