Hi, I’m Mel, Groups Product Manager here at Sno'n'Ski. I’m lucky enough to call Mt Beauty home, with Falls Creek as my backyard mountain. And let me tell you, this season is absolutely delivering. With epic snowfall setting up one of the best season starts in years and 99% of the resort open, Falls Creek is putting on a serious winter show - and I’ve got the inside scoop for your groups next visit!

Favourite Runs: From Green to Blue & Beyond
If you’ve recently had lessons on Cloud 9 and are looking to take the next step, start with Drovers. It’s gentle, scenic, and a great way to stretch your legs while enjoying those stunning lake views. Right next door is Highway 83 - a cruisy blue with just enough challenge to build confidence without feeling overwhelming.
And you can’t go past Wombat’s Ramble - Australia’s longest green run! It’s a favourite for beginners and seasoned skiers alike, and this year it’s in fantastic shape. Even better? It’s lit up at night, so you can keep the fun going long after sunset.
Cloud 9 Just Got Bigger (and Tastier!)
Cloud 9 has had a serious glow-up this season! You can now pre-book group lunches and enjoy them while taking in the views from the new balcony extension. Upstairs, the dining area has been expanded too – it’s a warm, inviting space that’s perfect for students needing a breather (and a bite!) between runs.

Go-To Coffee Break Spots On-Mountain
Here are a few of my favourite spots students and ski groups will love to warm-up (and a treat!):
Blue Brumby Café (off Highway 83): The hot choccy here on a bluebird day? Unreal. Grab a seat in the sun before hopping back on Towers Chair.
Dicky Knees (at Scott’s Chair): A little slice of Europe tucked into Falls - great food, great views, and ideal for those tackling intermediate and advanced runs.
1550 Café (in St Falls Resort): Ski-in/ski-out coffee right beside Halley’s Chair - I never say no to a quick espresso stop here.
Quick Snacks to Keep You Moving
When you need something fast (but still delicious), head to the Village Bowl or Halley’s Base for:
Snonuts - warm doughnuts with every topping imaginable
Spiral Spuds - a golden twist on the classic comfort snack
The Last Hoot - quick, fresh eats with great options for all dietary needs

Season Snapshot: It Just Keeps Coming!
With a deep base and more snow in the forecast, this season has been next-level. The great conditions have made a huge difference at Falls Creek Ski School, I’ve seen firsthand how much progress students are making, no matter their skill level.
The entire village is ski-in/ski-out, and the variety of terrain means there’s something here for everyone, whether you're just starting out or already carving up the mountain.
Ready to Ride? Falls Creek is absolutely mint right now. So grab your gear, sip your latte, and come soak up the alpine magic.
Hope to see you out there!
